In recent times, HiPipo has solidified its reputation as a leader in financial inclusion and digital innovation. In 2024 and 2025, HiPipo was honoured as the Most Innovative Financial Inclusion Organisation for the Middle East & Africa at the FinTech Awards hosted by Wealth & Finance International while its CEO, Innocent Kawooya, was also named FinTech CEO of the Year (MEA). Alongside that recognition, HiPipo continues to garner accolades for its consistent excellence, having been named Best Financial Inclusion Organization in previous years and being one of the few African firms featured among Global Business Leaders Magazine’s top 20 innovators in digital financial services. HiPipo was further honoured by the Private Sector Foundation Uganda (PSFU) as the Youth Organisation of the Year, a recognition of its unmatched impact in nurturing young innovators, driving inclusion, and creating sustainable opportunities for youth. Through initiatives like 40 Days 40 FinTechs, Women in FinTech, the Digital Impact Awards Africa, and its annual HiPipo Music Awards, the organisation has demonstrated both its commitment to nurturing digital ecosystems and its cultural influence.
