His professional experience prior to starting his own firm, in various roles within Risk Management, Operations, Consulting, Bank Supervision and Corporate Sales. He has worked with large domestic and international financial service institutions, including Goldman Sachs, E&Y, AIG, Bank of Montreal and Federal Reserve Bank of New York. Proven expertise in identifying, assessing, and mitigating risks across a wide spectrum of financial products and services. Passionate about fostering a culture of risk awareness and responsible decision-making. His expertise extends beyond traditional risk management frameworks to encompass a broader understanding of the impact of risk on business strategy and corporate governance. He recognizes the importance of aligning risk management practices with overall corporate objectives, ensuring that risk considerations are seamlessly integrated into strategic decision-making processes. This holistic approach to risk management has been particularly valuable in the context of banks, startups and insurance companies, where risk management plays a critical role in navigating the unique challenges and opportunities of these industries. Mr. Johnson received his Bachelor of Science in Management and International Business from Penn State University where he was a Bunton Waller Scholar and Division 1 athlete and his MBA in Finance and Accounting from New York University. Mr. Johnson is a highly respected member of the risk management and startup community. He is known for his expertise, judgment, and ability to communicate complex risk issues in a clear and concise way.
